WOLVES DOWN GOLDEN EAGLES, MOVE TO 7-9

Menno won for the third time in four matches with a 3-1 victory over Mitchell Christian Thursday night, Oct. 15 in Menno. The Wolves downed the Golden Eagles 22-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-22 and improved to 7-9. Mitchell Christian dropped to 2-11.

Jesse Munkvold’s eight kills and 30 digs led the attack for Menno while Bridget Vaith added six kills and a pair of blocks. Kylie Harriman had three kills, nine set assists and 24 digs; Kaylie Schempp had 20 digs; Madelyn Heckenlaible had five kills and six blocks and Paityn Huber, Harriman and Munkvold each had two aces.

The Wolves host Alcester-Hudson Saturday, Oct. 17 starting at 6:15 p.m.
