FREEMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS WIN CONFERENCE MEET

The Freeman Public girls won the middle school division of the Cornbelt Conference Track meet at Freeman Thursday, May 13, scoring 179 team points — well in front of runner-up Hanson’s 127.5.

The Menno varsity girls finished second in a closer race with Irene-Wakonda; the Wolves scored 146 points to the Eagles’ 151. Menno also finished second in the boys’ middle school division with 118 points. Hanson won with 154.5.

Hanson also dominated the boys’ varsity division with 216.5 points. Viborg-Hurley was second with 110.5 points.
