PHOTO OF THE DAY: DRY DAYS
Eyes will be to the sky tonight as a line of storms moves across South Dakota and into the southeastern portion of the state overnight and in the early-morning hours. It is the first chance of rain after weeks of hot weather, which is raising serious concern for a farming community worried about their crops and livestock. Highs have been in the 90s every day since June 3, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees — with high humidity — this afternoon.
