This trailer just past the left field fence at Merchants State Bank Field was quiet Sunday morning, but won’t be tonight when the Blacksox host Tabor in their traditional Independence Day amateur baseball game. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m. and will follow an afternoon of youth baseball and softball games that will help mark the June 27 celebration. Merchants State Bank is also sponsoring a chilsic stand that opens at 12 p.m., and CorTrust Bank is the sponsor for the fireworks that will cap the celebration.
