This was one of the scenes from the 2021 South Dakota Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale Saturday evening, July 10 inside Pioneer Hall. The fundraiser for worldwide relief was moved from the Prairie Arboretum because of wet weather and returned Saturday night after taking a year off because of Covid-19. This year’s sale was a scaled-back version of the event that began in 1987 out of continuing caution about the spread of the coronavirus. Watch for a full recap in next week’s Courier.
