PHOTO OF THE DAY: NEW LOOK?
This rendering shows what a new Freeman Main Street could look like should the city of Freeman proceed with the proposed design of the $3-plus million project. The city council reviewed this document at its July 8 meeting that shows curb extensions that, as proposed, would be included at the intersections of Main and Third (pictured) and Main and Fourth. Paul Korn of Sayre Associates, the firm working with the city on the project, told the council last week that a final design should be in place by fall, with the ideal time for bids to go out the first part of 2022.
Note: The yellow areas on this rendering show where the curb meets the roadway at zero grade.
