photo day
PHOTO OF THE DAY: THROWBACK THURSDAY
This is the administration building — originally named Memorial Hall — shortly after it was built in 1926 as part of an ever-evolving Freeman Junior College campus. It is one of the earliest buildings used by college and Freeman Academy students that remains standing; the other is Music Hall, which opened as South Dakota Mennonite College in 1903. Both will be alive with students and staff once again when another school term begins later this month; Freeman Academy — which today serves students in grades K-12 — begins the 2021-22 school year Aug. 25. Freeman Public and Menno start Aug. 18.
