PHOTO OF THE DAY: THE RIGHT WAY

This is seemingly a random photo of cars parked along a city street in Freeman, and while that may be the case, there’s a purpose behind it. The cars are all parked parallel to the street — the correct way. The city of Freeman has recently passed a new ordinance that states that parallel parking is the rule, not the exception, in Freeman and that angled parking is allowed only in designed areas.
