Freeman Academy’s Connor Epp and Aidan Gilbert, who is originally from New York and lives in the dorm, rake leaves as part of the school’s annual Community Service Day in Freeman Monday morning, Nov. 8. The work day in which students get out of the classroom and out and about in town goes back to the days of Freeman Junior College, and is a reflection of one of the school’s missions — service to others.
