PHOTO OF THE DAY: 5 GOOD MINUTES

Shelinda Smith and Shane Vetch are pictured in the Modern Woodmen office in Freeman earlier this week. Smith is the subject of this week’s 5-Minute Interview, where she explains her family’s idea for a “Friendsgiving” next Thursday, Nov. 25, which is being made possible thanks to the financial support of Vetch and Modern Woodmen. From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, those who want or need a traditional meal are invited to the Bethany Mennonite Church. Guests may dine in, take out or even call ahead for a delivery.
