PHOTO OF THE DAY: A TIME AGO

This photo shows the building that served as the Salem Mennonite (South) Church for the better part of 60 years. It was built in 1908 at the current location of the church, remodeled less than a decade later and then replaced with a much larger, brick structure in 1966. That building was destroyed by fire in 1985, with a new, similar structure completed in 1987.
