GROWING DREAMS WILL STAY AT FREEMAN PUBLIC THROUGH JULY 2023
JEREMY WALTNER – PUBLISHER
Meeting in regular session Monday night, Feb. 14, the Freeman School Board honored a request from Growing Dreams Learning Center to allow the non-profit day care/preschool facility to continue to operate from its location in the east wing of Freeman Elementary through the 2022-23 school year.
Freeman Public is making plans to reconfigure its elementary classroom structure to accommodate large class sizes at the youngest levels, as well as move the sixth graders back to that side of the campus, which means the district needs to use the space occupied by Growing Dreams since it was invited to come on campus in 2019. The compromise means one of the elementary classrooms will have to be moved into the Growing Dreams Learning Center wing for next school year. Watch for more on this, and other action from Freeman Public, next week.
