This shows the fuel pumps at Stanley Corner, which 50 years ago was a bustling little stop at the corner of Highway 81 and Highway 42 (Highway 16 at the time) that included a filling station on the west side of 81, tourist cabins and the Stanley Cafe. The four-way stop today is vacated and features flashing red lights warning motorists of the upcoming busy intersection.
