Freeman Mayor Michael Walter is just moments away from cutting the ribbon spanning the new downtown roadway late Friday morning, Sept. 23 as part of the ceremonial reopening of Main Street. The ribbon-cutting was done in conjunction with the Freeman High School homecoming parade and co-hosted by Freeman Public Schools and the Freeman Community Development Corporation with support from the city of Freeman.
