NEW: FENSEL’S ELECTRIC SOLD TO KLEINSASSERS

Fensel’s Electric, the store that has operated at the corner of Highway 81 and the North County Road (278th St.) since 1963 and specializes in hardware and electrical and plumbing supplies, has been sold to Kleinsasser Heating and Cooling.

The Kleinsasser family — brothers Morgan and Mitchell and their mom, Jane — will take ownership from Don Beier Saturday, July 1. The store will be closed for at least two weeks to allow for inventory, said Mitchell, who noted that Beier will remain involved with business.

“This is a team effort,” he told The Courier, “and will be good for everybody — especially the community.”
