PHOTO OF THE DAY: READY FOR THE RUSH

This photo of Freeman Public School 7-12 Principal Katie Juhnke appears on the front page of the Aug. 31 edition of The Courier along with a story about the enrollment growth in the district. School administration say the number of students in grades K-12 has surged by 80 in the past three years, making for challenges with staffing and scheduling. The largest class at Freeman Public is the eighth graders with 38, and there’s not a single class district-wide with fewer than 20 students.
