FLYERS, WOLVES AT VB TOURNAMENT SATURDAY

There will be plenty of volleyball this weekend for teams from Freeman Public and Menno as they take part in the eight-team Bridgewater-Emery Tounament Saturday, Sept. 16.

The Flyers are in Pool A with Bridgewater-Emery, Howard and Viborg Hurley and will face Howard at 8 a.m., the host team at 10 a.m. and Viborg-Hurley at 12 p.m.

The Wolves are in Pool B with Ethan, Canistota and Irene-Wakonda and will face Canistota at 9 a.m., Irene-Wakonda at 11 a.m. and Ethan at 1 p.m.

The second-place team from each pool with play for third place while the winners from each pool will play for the championship; both of those matches will start at 2 p.m.
