Freeman Academy assistant soccer coach James Baer and his younger brother Jorgen — a senior co-captain and defensive stopper for the Bobcats — meet up Saturday morning to apply a fresh coat of paint on the field’s lines. FA was scheduled to host James Valley Christian in the final match of the regular season at noon. The two teams played to a 0-0 tie earlier in the season.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, the Bobcats have already qualified for the playoffs that start next week and are currently No. 4 in the Class A standings. The first round of the postseason is Tuesday, Oct. 3. Watch for an update when the bracket is set.
