PHOTO OF THE DAY: SATURDAY MORNING LIVE

This is what was happening inside the Freeman High School gym Saturday morning as area teams assembled for a junior high volleyball tournament. The event was organized by Cami Fransen for her senior project and run by members of the Flyers’ varsity volleyball team. Matches were being played simultaneously on two courts and concessions were being served in the junior-senior high school commons area. Matches began at 9 a.m. and the tournament was scheduled to continue into the afternoon.
