PHOTO OF THE DAY: EVENING SHIFT

Scenes like this one a few miles east of Freeman Friday night are common across the area as farmers take advantage of beautiful fall weather to bring in the grain harvest. According to the most recent statewide crop report released on Oct. 30 by the Northern Plains Region of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 60% of the corn harvest and 94% of the soybean harvest had been completed across South Dakota.
