PHOTO OF THE DAY: JUST LIKE GRANDPA

It was a family affair at Jamboree Foods as 7-year-old Jackson Leite was joined by his parents, Nikki and Tyson, helping out at the family’s downtown business. Jackson represents the fourth generation to work in the aisles of a grocery store; his uncle, Brett, and grandpa and grandma, Bob and Karen, run Jamboree Foods, and Ted Pidde Sr. operated the downtown store — once known as Ted’s Clover Farm — prior to Bob returning.

Jackson is a first grader at Hillcrest Elementary in Brookings and his favorite football team is the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits.
