This sign owned and maintained by the Freeman Community Development Corporation offers a reminder as November quickly gives way to December. And area residents will have a chance to support local vendors at the Hometown Christmas/Mistletoe Market celebration this Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Freeman Community Center. More than two dozen vendors — mostly home-based businesses — will be selling their products and other activities are planned for the whole family, from food and crafts to a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
