The seat that would have been occupied by clarinetist Megan Rollag is decorated in her honor for the Freeman Public 7-12 holiday concert Monday night. Rollag, a senior at Freeman, died in a car accident Saturday afternoon and the tribute “was 100% planned by the seniors.” Monday’s concert also included an emotional tribute in song by the Girls 9 — of which Megan was part — who sang her favorite song, “Breath of Heaven” by Amy Grant.
