This was the scene near the corner of Main and Third streets Tuesday morning as the first work day of the new year began. Libby Miller, who has owned Flawless Nail and Salon since early 2014, is remodeling her downtown Freeman business, which includes new siding on the south side of her store. That side of the structure has been exposed since the partial collapse — followed by the complete removal — of what was known locally as The Schamber Store in 2025.
