This is what Freeman’s Main Street looked like Tuesday morning after the early-week storm cleared out, leaving a solid foot of snow across the community and windrows for the city to remove. While the Monday snow didn’t come with wind early on, breezy conditions became a reality later in the day and overnight, leaving poor road conditions in rural areas. That prompted area schools to move from a two-hour late start to canceled classes for the second day in a row.
