MENNO SCHOOL BOARD TO VOTE ON EXPANDED TRAPPERS CO-OP JAN. 22
The Menno School Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday, Jan. 22 to vote on whether to move forward with an expanded Scotland/Menno Trappers sports cooperative.
The meeting will come two weeks after the Scotland School Board voted 5-2 to include boys and girls basketball, track and field, and wrestling in the athletic partnership that currently includes football, softball and golf.
Menno and Scotland also play together in youth and high school baseball.
Kory Foss, superintendent at Menno, said there will be a time for public input, but that groups with similar opinions should elect a single speaker to represent them.
Those wishing to speak must contact the business office at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, per a request from the Menno School Board.
The meeting will be held inside the conference room at the school.
