SCHOOLS DISMISS EARLY; MORE GAMES POSTPONED

Another round of winter weather is forcing schools to dismiss early and games to be postponed once again. Freeman Academy and Freeman Public were both scheduled to dismiss at 12:30 p.m., with Menno letting out at 12:55 p.m.

Tonight’s boys basketball game between Freeman Public and Menno, scheduled to be played in Freeman, will now be played as part of a doubleheader with the girls in Menno Friday night, Jan. 19, with both JV games beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Freeman Academy/Marion’s doubleheader against Scotland, scheduled for tonight at Freeman Academy, has been postponed; a makeup date has not been identified.

Freeman Academy is also postponing parent-teacher conferences scheduled for tonight, and Heritage Hall Museum & Archives is closed as well.
