PHOTO OF THE DAY: CLEAN-UP JOB

With the sun on the rise, Paul Wynia moves snow on the sidewalk that runs along the northern edge of the Freeman Public Schools campus Monday morning, Jan. 22. Blowing snow made for another tricky weekend in terms of travel, but it appears as though mild weather has finally arrived — at least for the time being. Highs are expected to be in the 30s all week long and there was no snow in the forecast as of early this week. This will be the first time since before Christmas that the area has enjoyed an extended period of reasonable weather.
