PHOTO OF THE DAY: REGION 4B BOYS BRACKET SET

Region 4B boys basketball action is set for next week and No. 2 Freeman Public will host No. 7 Menno at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Freeman Public. That game will be followed by No. 6 Freeman Academy/Marion facing No. 3 Centerville.

The region tournament begins Monday with No. 8 Irene-Wakonda facing No. 9 Scotland. The winner of that game will face No. 1 Viborg-Hurley on the other side of the bracket on Tuesday. That game will be followed by No. 4 Alcester-Hudson against No. 5 Gayville-Volin. The winners of Tuesday’s games will play in the final round on Friday.

During the regular season, Freeman Public defeated Menno 77-33 while FA/Marion lost to Centerville 56-33.
