Marion-Freeman Rebels wrestling coach Chris Sayler stands with John Donavan, head wrestling coach in Chamberlain, after accepting an award on behalf of his brother, Greg, who on Saturday was inducted into the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association High School Hall of Fame. Greg, who today lives in New Prague, Minn., was a three-time state wrestling place winner for Freeman in the late 1980s, finishing fourth as a sophomore, second as a junior and was a state champion as a senior. He was also a member of the Flyers’ 1988 state championship team and finished his high school career 121-20-1. Greg was also a member of the Argus Leader Elite 45 at linebacker and, in college, was a two-time NCAA Division 2 All-American.
