Marlo Ortman helps himself to the ethnic foods on the Schmeckfest buffet during the meal early Saturday evening, March 16. It was the second and final day of the 63rd “festival of tasting” and a busy one at Freeman Academy — the school for which the fundraiser has been held since 1959. The Schmeckfest meal and the show, “Shrek the Musical,” were sold out and large crowds occupied the primary attractions — sausage sales, Sterling Hall and Heritage Hall Museum & Archives.
