PHOTO OF THE DAY: THE ART OF PIE

Slices of pie are set out on the counter of the Freeman Senior Citizen Center in advance of Friday’s Lions Club Soup Day fundraiser. Serving will begin at 11 .m. and continue through the supper hour; potato soup and chili are being featured and there will also be ham and cheese sandwiches and hot dogs available — all for a free-will offering that will be used for various community projects taken on by the local Lions Club.
