PHOTO OF THE DAY: TOO MUCH WATER

A car passes through the flooded intersection of College and Walnut streets Thursday afternoon as heavy rains continue to pound the region. Already socked with more than 3 inches of rain from earlier in the week, the Freeman community has sustained significant additional moisture from rains that have lasted all day — and been heavy at times. While the worst of it was passing through mid-afternoon, additional showers are expected to redevelop later tonight and on Friday.
