Death Notice: Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Bender

Elizabeth “Betty” Bender, age 99 of Yankton, S.D., passed away early Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at Oakview Terrace Nursing Home, Freeman, S.D. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 19 at Salem Reformed Church, Menno, S.D., with Rev. Michael Hecht officiating. Visitations will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Salem Reformed Church and then one hour prior to the service at the church.
