PHOTO OF THE DAY: QUIET MONDAY

It’s a quiet Monday at schools like Freeman Public as Native American Day — formerly known as Columbus Day — is observed. The federal holiday means that schools and government agencies and offices are closed, as are some businesses. And while there are no classes on Monday, there is a volleyball game scheduled as Freeman Public travels to Menno in a make-up game from last month.
