PHOTO OF THE DAY: FACES IN THE CROWD

The Freeman High School band kicks off “Christmas Around the World,” an international-themed holiday concert presented by Freeman Public music students in grades 7-12 Thursday night, Dec. 12. In addition to selections by the band, the 50-minute concert included songs by the seventh and eighth graders, Girls 9, a high school girls and boys chorus and a 9-12 mixed chorus. The concert was under the direction of Iwona Lewter, Sonja Waltner and Sheila Wipf.
