FHS BOYS ROUT CANISTOTA, MOVE TO 2-0
Senior Christopher Aasen and juniors Luke Peters and Tate Sorensen each scored 16 points to lead Freeman to a 76-42 win over Canistota in Freeman Thursday night, Dec. 19. The win moved the Flyers to 2-0 on the season while the Hawks dropped to 0-2.
Freeman — which received votes in this week’s Class B South Dakota Prep Basketball Media Poll — led 20-5 at the end of the first quarter and 42-21 at the half.
The Flyers next play White River at the Corn Palace Saturday, Dec. 28 at 3 p.m.
