PHOTO OF THE DAY: WHITE ON BROWN

It’s nothing like the kind of winter weather other parts of the country have been experiencing the past few days, but the Freeman community did turn white overnight Monday into Tuesday as light snowfall decorated what had been a brown landscape. And it remains cold, with temperatures the single digits again on Tuesday. But a warming trend — relatively speaking — is expected starting Wednesday and through the rest of the week.
