FREEMAN ACADEMY BOARD NON-RENEWS HEAD OF SCHOOL
The Freeman Academy Board of Directors announced this week that it has determined not to renew the head of school contract of Dr. Brad Anderson when the fiscal year ends on June 30, 2025.
News of the board’s decision was shared with employees during a faculty and staff meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21. A subsequent email was sent the following day to inform members of the FJC/FA Corporation.
Anderson was appointed to the role of head of school in 2022. He arrived at Freeman Academy in 2017 and served as Bible instructor and academic dean prior to entering his current role.
“I want to express gratitude on behalf of the board for the many contributions Brad has made to Freeman Academy and the wider community,” said board president Brian Paff.
Paff noted that the board has initiated the process of seeking a new administrator, including assembling a head of school search committee.
