The Freeman High School girls and boys both won over Alcester-Hudson in Alcester Thursday night, Feb. 6, and the Scotland/Menno girls defeated Platte-Geddes in Platte while the Scotland/Menno boys lost to the Black Panthers.
The Flyer girls won 59-24 and improved to 12-3; Alcester-Hudson dropped to 3-14.
Freeman’s boys won 80-72 to improve to 11-3; the Cubs dropped to 9-6.
The Scotland/Menno girls won 44-38 and improved to 4-10; Platte-Geddes dropped to 4-11.
Scotland/Menno’s boys lost 63-42 and dropped to 3-11; the Black Panthers improved to 9-5.
Friday games
- The Freeman Academy/Marion boys (3-11) travel to No. 1-ranked Viborg-Hurley (14-1).
- The Trappers are also in action Friday when they host a doubleheader with Irene-Wakonda in Menno.
