PHOTO OF THE DAY: SIGNING DAY
Freeman High School senior Christopher Aasen, seated center, is pictured with some of his football teammates during a ceremonial signing with Dakota State University Monday, Feb. 10. Aasen agreed to play football at the next level with the Trojans after meeting with the team’s coaches, who were also on hand for Monday’s signing. Josh Anderson, DSU’s head football coach of 16 years, said he sees “a lot of talent” in Christopher “and a lot of great talent in Freeman’s team, and he played a big part in that.” Anderson said Aasen will most like land a spot as a slot receiver for the Trojans.
