TRAPPER GIRLS ADVANCE; FLYERS ELIMINATED

Third-seed Scotland/Menno took down sixth-seed Bon Homme 49-42 in the first round of the Region 5A tournament Tuesday night while fifth-seed Gayville-Volin came from behind to defeat fourth-seed Freeman 52-50 in Region 4B action.

Scotland/Menno will visit Mount Vermon/Plankinton Thursday night with a trip to the SoDak 16 on the line. Gayville-Volin visits No. 1 Centerville.
