Matchups have been set for the high school boys regionals as the postseason begins this week. In Region 4B, Freeman Public (16-4) is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Gayville-Volin (12-7) Tuesday night. Freeman Academy/Marion (6-14) is No. 9 and will travel to No. 8 Irene-Wakonda (8-12) on Monday.

The winner of the Freeman/GV game will travel to No. 2 Parkston (15-5) on Friday while the winner of the FAM/IW game will visit No. 1 Viborg-Hurley (18-2).

In Region 5A, Scotland/Menno (4-16) is the No. 5 seed and will visit No. 4 Mount Vernon/Plankinton (5-15) on Tuesday, with the winner playing No. 1 Hanson (13-7) on Friday.
